Saturday, October 16, 2010  Arrival: Families pick up students at the airport.  Meet students on the upper level where they come through security. (Mr. Carlino and Mrs. Kennedy will not be available at the airport due to the State Foreign Language Teachers’ conference held this same weekend.)

Monday, October 18, 2010  Welcome: Please arrive by 7:30. KW – Faculty Cafeteria, KE – Dog Pound. The group will be officially greeted and welcomed by the school administration. Take your partner through the breakfast line to get something if they want it. We will have our official welcome from the school administration at 7:45. Please let your teachers know ahead of time that you will have your partner with you on this day. 
Tuesday, October 19, 2010  Downtown Buffalo: Germans only. KE kids make arrangements to get dropped off at West by 8:15 (carpool). Meet at Door #15 at 8:25. (If you arrive early, you can come to room 413.) You will be walking together to Colvin/Highland to take the Metro bus 
downtown. Bring snacks and a bag lunch or you may buy something to eat downtown. Wear good walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing. You will be outside most of the day. 
Wednesday, October 20, 2010  Darwin Martin House / Albright-Knox Art Gallery: Germans Only. Travel by Ken-Ton school bus. You may bring snacks and a bag lunch or buy something at Wegman’s Cafe. Martin House tour is 9:30 – 11:00. School bus will transfer to Wegman’s at 11:00 and then to the art gallery for a 12:00 tour. The bus will leave the art gallery at 1:30. (If the weather is nice, spend some time outside behind the art gallery on Hoyt Lake.) 
Thursday, October 21, 2010  Old Fort Niagara and Niagara Falls: Germans and Americans. Bring snacks and a bag lunch. Limited opportunities to purchase food. Wear weather appropriate clothing. Bring a change of dry clothing! You will be outside most of the day and you will get wet! Oktoberfest Concert at Kenmore East - food, German music, etc. open to all.

Monday, October 25 ,2010  Genesee Country Village: Germans Only. Bring snacks and a bag lunch or buy food atthe cafeteria at GCV. Wear weather appropriate clothing. You will be outside most of the day. Pot Luck Dinner: Set up at 4:00 pm, start at 5:00. NOCO Pavilion. (Alternate date: Monday Oct. 25) 
Tuesday, October 26 ,2010  Letchworth Park / Corning Museum of Glass: Germans and Americans. Bring snacks and a bag lunch or purchase something (fast food lunch stop en route.) Wear good walking/hiking shoes and weather appropriate clothing (approximately one hour walk/hike at Letchworth). 
Wednesday, October 27,2010  Departure: Students should check with their teachers about where to leave luggage. German students may shadow for the morning and then meet in the parking lot at the noted time. American students will not ride the bus to the airport. Please do not drive yourselves there either. Checking in and getting through security take time, and extra “good-byes” can cause delays.

New York City: Manhattan walk - Wash. Sq. Park, Union Square, SoHo, Greenwich Village. Dinner stop along the way. Empire State Building, Time Square

Friday, October 29 ,2010  New York City: Guggenheim Museum, Grand Central Station, Rockefeller Plaza, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Fifth Ave, Times Sq., Central Park Cruise around Manhattan
