Bilingual News (January 31, 2003)

What can a bilingual class do when they want to go to England but costs are too high?

• They can give up
• They can rob a bank
• They can find ways of raising some money

Guess what we did. Our answer was our end-of-term party on Friday 31 January:

We did four sketches (hilarious!):

• The ticket inspector (showing you that sometimes it is possible to travel first class without having a ticket)

• Mr Jones (a story which tells you that there can be three people with the same name at the same place)
• Queuing at the grocer`s (which is the story of a grocer who does everything for his customers but sometimes forgets about very important things)
• The dentist (giving you an idea how you can avoid waiting too long at the dentist`s)

Then we had yummy hot dogs and drinks and at last - there was our fabulous auction with all sorts of bits and bobs. Sebastian and Frithjof convinced the guests that they could not go home without getting some nice auction items. 

This was a big success - not only moneywise.

Thanks to all the parents who supported our party and helped us with generous donations.
